Summer "must haves"

1. Rainbow sandals

best. sandals. ever.

I love the skinny strap the best! (my feet are too leetle for the wide strap)

2. Sweet Tea or Cucumber infused water

3. Fekkai beach wave spray

This stuff is the best for the summertime! It doesn't leave you sticky after and gives you the perfect tousled beach "wavey" hair. It's $23/bottle but if that's too pricey just mix sea salt and water in a cheap spray bottle and you will get a similar effect on your hair. That's what I used for forever until this amazing product came along.

7. Frenchi boxy scoop neck tee

I love frenchi boyfriend tees with their loose fit and many colors! This summer there's the scoop neck boxy tee which falls nicely off my shoulders (as I love one shoulder anything!) and of course comes in an array of colors. I have this in a neutral taupe. It's perfect to layer a tank underneath or swimsuit for the beach.

8. Oscar Blandi dry shampoo

I try really hard to only wash my hair 3-4 times per week and this stuff is a GODSEND! Blondes like myself can get away with using baby powder to soak up excess oil but I hate the baby powder smell. This stuff makes your hair smell amazing and eliminates oils and odor in your hair. Slightly 'dirty' hair is easier to style and with this product you can go several days without washing.

There you have it. These are my favorite "must haves" for the summertime!

2. I'm almost done reading Dixieland Delight, which I'm loving btw, but now I need some new book recommendations!!! What should I read next?!?

3. Should I or should I not purchase the pink leopard Toms? Or.... should I get another 'classic' pair? I currently own the silver glitter, classic red, and classic navy. I really wanted the pink glitter Toms last fall but I convinced myself that a twenty-five year old should not attempt to wear them, so now I really want the pink leopard ones! What do you think?

cool as ice.

Right now I'm loving tie dye, chambray, and cool colors including teal & turquoise.

I recently acquired the new OPI color Austin-tatious turquoise seen here and I'm obsessed. I love the name, the sparkle and the perfect turquoise color. 

I'm also obsessed with the new tie dye Toms shoes. 

Might I add, that I'm also obsessed with Chambray skirts? 

Navy blue hunters? Yup, I'm obsessed with those too.

Don't get me started on the swimsuits. I have an addiction to those too.

What I'm loving Wednesday

1. My Clarisonic Pro

I got this as a Christmas gift and let me tell you it is amazing! College Prep recently blogged about her Clarisonic and the words she used to describe it are so true. It is literally like a toothbrush for your face. Just imagine the sonicare toothbrushes --so fab! 

2. Skype

I just started skyping with friends and family and I'm addicted! It's so fun :))

3. The Bachelor

It's backkkkkkkk :)

Let me tell you though, I genuinely dislike Brad...I used to see him everywhere in Austin. I'm definitely not a fan

4. DIY Pedicures 

fab toes and saving money? What's not to love! I recently stocked up on some OPI nail polish at Ulta, particularly the Burlesque glitter polishes. love.

Cheap but CUTE gifts part 1

You can give a great gift and it doesn't have to be expensive! If you have A LOT of people to shop for like I do, then I'm sure these great gift ideas will come in handy. I'm a firm believer that you can get almost anything you want without paying full price. 

Some things, like my Tory Burch revas are a true investment, so in my opinion are worth the $200. My favorite outfits are when I pair designer jeans/shoes with cute tops from H&M or Forever 21. 

I spend money on staples and bargain shop for everything else. Getting to the point haha here are my picks for gifts under $30
