OOTD: Lone Star Jam

1. Old Navy sundress: You will want to be comfortable and wear loose clothing in light colors and fabrics to accommodate the Texas heat. After all, you'll be in the sun for at least 8 hours!

2. Rainbow sandals: Since you will be outdoors in a grassy area, you don't want to wear high heels and it's simply too hot to wear cowboy boots all day. Your feet will sweat! Sandals are your best option.  I live in my rainbows. You can never go wrong pairing them with a cute sundress for the summer.

3. Coach cross body bag: My go-to purse option for concerts/festivals/sporting events. Hands free for picture taking and beer drinking! Need I say more?

4. Michael Kors watch: simple, understated jewelry plus you can keep track of when the next band performs.

5. Ray Bans: self explanatory. You will be in the sun... ALL day

6. Straw hat: to keep the sun out of your face and to complete the perfect summery outfit

7. Sunscreen: sunburnt skin is not pretty not to mention harmful so make sure to bring your SPF!

8. Koozie {not pictured}: for your beer. duhhhhh

keds: an american classic

When I was a little girl, I had keds in every color. seriously. Even now at twenty-five, I still love my classic white keds paired with either loose fitted boyfriend jeans or skinnys.

Ray Bans

While nearly all my preppy friends prefer Ray Ban wayfarers, I remain loyal to my Ray Ban aviators. I'm a pretty simple girl and prefer classics. I've also never been into sunglasses, but I absolutely love my Ray Bans.

I especially like the rose tint because I love how it lends a girly look to these traditionally masculine aviators.
