trip to Houston

I was planning on going to Snook, Tx
{podunk town near College Station} for the Chili Fest/Concert this weekend, but I changed my mind and decided I needed some family time in Houston.
I haven't been home since Christmas! 

I thought it would be fun to show a few things I'm packing for my 3 day trip. I'm a planner and I like to pack ahead of time so I'm not rushed. I also don't like to overpack. I plan outfits for the day + night and pack ONLY shoes that I know I will wear. I always get travel-sized everything so I don't have to bring large bottles of shampoo etc

 {this leaves more room for clothes/shoes/accessories.. genius!}
