Before I get into my infatuation with this ultra-comfy yet chic contemporary brand, 291 Venice, let me give a background on my style. I'm not necessarily 100% prep all the time... I like simple, comfortable, and stylish, but without trying too hard. I tend to gravitate towards tops by Splendid and C&C California, especially in the summer because they are loose fitting, soft, and comfortable. I love the beach-y vibe that the brand 291 offers. They have lots of slouchy, oversized tanks that are perfect for layering. (PS, might I add that I am especially fond of the bralettes by Victoria's Secret Pink... I might have one in every color and I wear them all the time including here... )

I cannot express just how much I love my MK sandals. I wear them religiously in the summer, and they are perfect for the pool! They are super easy to clean (just rinse them off), go with everything, and perfectly display my pedi.
I also love these TR cropped jeans. Most of my TR jeans are flared, so these are actually my favorite pair, because they have a straight leg fit. In the fall they transition nicely with riding boots or ugg boots without being bulky.
While we're on the subject of comfy, chic clothing, I should point out that I'm also a big fan of Frenchi T's (found at Nordstrom BP juniors dept.) They're $20 and come in every color imaginable and are the most comfortable t-shirts in the world. I swear by this brand! I really love the scoop neck boxy t's (pictured below)
The neckline is so big that you can wear this style of shirt off the shoulder,
which is how I prefer to wear them.
